MINWIN-2.5 TABLES

Minwin-2.5 Tablet contains Minoxidil (2.5 mg). It belongs to a class of medications called vasodilators (potassium channel openers). It works by relaxing and widening blood vessels, which increases localized blood circulation. Primary UsesTreatment of Pattern Hair Loss (Androgenetic Alopecia): At low oral doses (like 2.5 mg), minoxidil enhances blood supply to hair follicles, delivering oxygen and nutrients to stimulate hair growth and reduce thinning. Hypertension (High Blood Pressure): Though minoxidil was originally developed as a potent antihypertensive, higher doses are generally used for severe, treatment-resistant high blood pressure. How to TakeTake the tablet exactly as directed by your physician (usually once daily), with or without food. For hair regrowth, consistent use is essential; visible results often take 3 to 6 months. Stopping the medication can reverse hair growth gains over time. Common & Expected Side EffectsInitial Hair Shedding: A temporary increase in shedding during the first 2–6 weeks of treatment is common as old hairs transition to a new growth cycle.Hypertrichosis: Unwanted hair growth on other areas of the body (e.g., face, arms, or legs).Mild Lightheadedness / Dizziness: Caused by temporary drops in blood pressure.Fluid Retention or Mild Ankle Swelling: Minor fluid retention can occur.Important PrecautionsCardiovascular Monitoring: Oral minoxidil can cause reflex tachycardia (an abnormally fast heartbeat) or fluid accumulation around the heart. Inform your doctor immediately if you experience chest pain, rapid heart rate, or shortness of breath. Medical Conditions: Consult your doctor before use if you have pre-existing heart disease, kidney conditions, or blood pressure issues. Pregnancy & Breastfeeding: Not recommended for use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding without specialist medical oversight.
